Dragstrip results on mostly stock car - SRT Forums

I took my new-to-me SRT4 to the dragstrip yesterday. My on mods are 3" downpipe with cat and a CAI. I wanted to try and get the car into the 13s prior to installing the 93 performance tune.

Stock PCM tune:
14.4 @ 99 (missed 3rd badly)
14.0 @ 102
13.9 @ 101

I then loaded the 93 performance tune.

I then made the following two passes:
13.67 @ 103
13.76 @ 104

On the 13.67 pass, the a/f was 11.8 almost all the way through.
On the 13.76 pass, it saw it jump up to 12.4.

freaking sweet man... glad to see it works pretty good for a stock like car. mid 13's is so ftw with little mods

Nice runs! Anything in the 13's is good for a stock car on street tires!

I was also at the track this weekend and I pulled a 13.6 @ 106ish, but my 60s were not good, or I missed a shift on a good 60 ft. Only made 4 passes, the track was packed!! My best 60 was a 2.109 but I missed 2nd gear, I still pulled a 13.7 on that run though. I should be around a 13.4ish with a good launch and not missing any gears lol..

Also very first time at a track, on crappy sumitumo stock tires. Mods are 93perf tune, Needwings DP (closed), and FM WGA( still playing with the boost). I will deffenitly be back at the track soon enough, hopefully with everything tweaked the way I want it.

I would turn up the boost via predator, but then lean out to about 12.3ish, so then Id back it off a few % and then very rich at like 11.4-11.5. I will tweak this for next time so its about 12.0.

man you should of let me know you was going, we could of does lots of cool stuff like datalogged on my laptop etc. oh well i may go this wednesday i finally got my oil changed

I logged every run on my laptop

It was a spur of the moment thing, we were all like lets go to the track lol.. Ill be up there again next month..

what track did you go to?I go to Bradenton every time i'm down there visiting family.I'm just wondering because i can't figure that track out...i just run weird times on that track.Good runs for the mods thats for sure...I've recently got drag radials and i won't go to the track without them now,i just have so much more fun not having to worry about the launch so much.

There was a big turbo car on DRs and he either had a messed up car or could not drive for sh*t!! He was running 14s on it and I was walking him all night lol

. He said he was 60 trim, full bolt ons etc.. I was getting good 60s toward the end of the night but ran out of time to run more, I guess ill go back on a less packed night..
