do you need the ac charger to connect it to a p.c? Or can I have the usb cable connected to my laptop, and plug it into the car for the power source? I tried it, but it is saying I need drivers or what not..... any ideas?

if it says you need a driver, then you gotta download the USB to serial hardware driver for your laptop.

you dont need the charger if you connect it to your OBD

Quick question...if I'm on the stock PCM, and the 93oct tune loaded, downstream o2 sensor is still giving the PCM readings?

Lemme preface this by saying im not too knowledgeable about cars, and I picked up this SRT-4 recently. It's running really rich. I have a stage 2 kit, a 3" downpipe w/cutout and a few other minor bolt ons. I havent bought this yet, but I'm considering it, if it can lean out my car a bit. Will a canned 93 tune automatically lean out my mixture to where it should be? Or am I going to have to learn all the nitty gritty about F/A ratios and do it myself?

I suggest anyone using a DSP/tuning device to at least understand the basics of how your car runs, and what exactly you're tuning and how these things affect one another. Otherwise, it's pointless and possibly dangerous.

Hi Guys, I am the happy owner of NSRT4 and 300 SRT8. I bought the DSP for the SRT8 and loaded the 91 octane + CAI tune. I data logged a run on stock tune watching the Knock parameters:
- KNK Fuel Ret
- KNK LT Retard
- KNK ST Retard
- SPK ADV
For stock tune, the Fuel and ST Knk is around 3 at WOT around 5000 rpm. When I loaded the 91 Oct tune, the Knk is around 6 at WOT for Fuel/ST and 1.5 for LT. The big question is, somebody knows how much Knock is ok for a no turbo 6.1 engine?
I am sorry for this question on this forum, but this is my best chance to get an answer from people who knows about DSP.

Best Regards.
