From what I can see there is just a hefty step up in price from the dsp and no significant differences.

The price has come down to a more reasonable $600. The main benefits are the Trinity can log a lot more PIDs without the use of a laptop, plus you can setup a dash that allows you to view up to 6 PIDs at a time.

Mike i know you guys had a gauge pod mount for the Trinity. My question is can it be used to mount the Trinity in the stock boost gauge pod? if possible would viewing the display be an issue? Thanks.

My opinion, after seeing it in person, is that it's an overpriced hand held with a nice GUI. Yes, would be very cool to datalog and see it all with the pretty gauges, but honestly after you've nailed your tune...I don't see much use going on after that. I haven't touched my DSP in weeks. I can imagine it being the same except with a more expensive hand held that's going to kill your wallet if jacked. (For those that use it as a scangauge replacement)

If it was like $400-500 i'd say maybe. I paid $375 for my DSP so it's not that far away in price and it does look very nice. But IMO the features aren't outstanding to warrant the price. Perhaps if you had control over a few more parameters and maybe more fuel adjustments...but nahh. I think it was designed for those who didn't want to fuss with a laptop in the car, so for those it would be perfect.
