Default Diablo Logging Questions??

I have 2 questions probrably easy but i can't figure it out.

1 - The dashboard, i wanted to make one to save or download the one that is in the sticky so i can log and have the view i want before starting. I can't seem to open up the dashboard file in the viewer or after i save one i can't reopen it in the viewer either. Something I am missing?

2 - I do not see this parameter in the viewer
INJECTOR--->
AVG TOTAL WORKING PW
Where is it?

thanks!!

1. Drop the dashboard file into the C:\Program Files\DiabloSport\DataViewer 3.1\dashboards folder. You will then be able to pull it up via the pull down menu on the right hand side of the Dataviewer screen.

2. I don't have one connected in front of me right now, but if you cannot find it normally then do the following. While connected to the car hit the button that has a ? mark over the car. Then go advanced. It will take a while to query all the PIDS. It should be in there then.

Adding the new dashboards doesn't work on 2 computers i tried is there a problem with Vista? Also below are screen shots of all the parameters i see and the car it says Chrysler sci, is that normal? Also no TPS input just says miscellaneous and RAW TPS which doesn't work. Where do i find the question mark to query the PIDs anybody have a screen shot of that?

My DV actually pulls the logs and dashboards from a separate "Dataveiwer" folder it added to "MY Documents"

You need to connect to the ecu by the little "lighten bolt"(not a ? mark), 3rd icon from the left, then select the proper PIDs

Yes TPS raw doesn't work. you need:
Throttle Sensor Input-->
THR POSN

Chrysler SCI is normal. Its the com bus being used.

I was able to connect with that button and log but those are all the PIDs i get when logging it doesn't allow me see anything else. The TPS sensor PID isn't there at all nor is the injector/avg total working , the PIDs in the print screen pic on the left hand side are all i see when connected...any other ideas,

thanks for your help!

Thanks i know but that isn't the problem. I don't see those PIDs as an option to even click on before i start recording. All the ones in the pic are all i see i have everyone selected on there that i can.

If the lighten bolt is "greyed out" like it is in your screen shots, then the Predator might have issues querying the ecu for all avialible PIDs. The Key must be on or the engine running. I had this issue once. Click the "Info" tab(next to chart/guage tabs) to see if its "connected", "searching" or "reading".

Mine got bogged down "reading". Usually it only takes a few seconds, but that time it took 10-15min and even timed out once. I disconnect everything, shut down the veiwer then plugged it all back in, and it worked fine.

Hmm weird ok, i thought greyed out just meant it was already connected. I'll try again and see.

Nope and thats your problem. When you're actually connected several of the icons between the open icon and the Record icon will not be greyed out.

I just tried it, it works!! woohoo.

Still don't see:

INJECTOR--->
AVG TOTAL WORKING PW

I see a lot of others though, was it renamed in the newer CROM or something maybe? Is is the BARO (psi) in the fuel flows PID? I am seeing that checked on when i import the dashboard in the sticky.

I was able to save a default DCX dashboard and import ones via the dataviewer folder it created in my documents like you said. thanks for your help!!
