Default Desired torque question

I was playing with a tune and did it as a baseline then added 15% boost to it. Logged both times, but noticed something odd. I was holding more boost at 6200 (+4psi i think) but my desired torque dropped off by close to 40 ft.lbs. Does that mean I was making more torque at the less boost or is it just some odd thing with the tune?

Intriguing to me because I assumed with more boost up top (no knock, good a/fs) it would naturally be commanding more torque.

When you increase boost with the DSP you increase the torque values in the Desired Torque table,,, But that's just the start of it.

From the table values, Desired Torque gets moved around for all sorts of things. ACT, Ambient temp, Baro, ECT, TIP, RPM, MPH, ect,,,then this annoying control algorithm called "Torque Management" steps in to reduce it when bad things happen like Knock, rev limit, mph limit, wheel spin, overboost,,,and on and on and on.

I'm trying to figure it all out. All the farther I got so far is that:
1) TURBO TRQ POTENTIAL STP more closely resembles the Des. Trq tables in the PCM.

2) TURBO TRQ POTENTIAL STP minus TURBO DEL TRQ REDUCTION REQ = TURBO TOTAL TRQ DESIRED--i don't know how particularly helpful that is?

3) TRQ DESIRED is always the lowest logged ft-lb value. I haven't id all the PIDs that goes into its value

One odd thing: I noticed on my PCM that TRQ DESIRED tanks along with timing at 6100rpm. 6100rpm is suspiciously the RPM value of the last column of the Desire Torque table AND the RPM value of the old rev limiter.hmmm I'm thinking Torque Management thinks I'm over revving and is pulling timing.

Here's a good example:
Deposit Files

Do you have a log showing this before/after drop?

Deposit Files < low boost with higher torque

Deposit Files < high boost lower torque
