So this is suppose to adjust the knock sensitivity and make the 93 tune actually plug and play and not run so lean? And fix the logging issue that 9r17 had?
I installed the now crom version 9r18 and loaded the performace tune just to see if the threshold would help with the knock... Here is the my outcome, I had to put my stage 1 injectors back for this test by the way... The car is lean in second gear 12.2 afr's and third and forth gear is rich 10's up untill mid 4k-6k then it's 11.6 the highest. I only got to datalog a second gear pull and I had a ton of knock...5 st knock.I wanna test 3rd and 4th gear beacause like I said it richer in thoughs gears. And this was on non PCM because I have a agp wga and I could not tame the boost with the handheld. I tried taking -1* timing out between 4-6k and added fuel in the same rpm range. Lol maybe I should just stick to my customs tunes. Car does feel better with the stock injectors but the knock is crazy

Yeah I am getting a lot of knock too, around 3-4 counts at about 5300rpm no matter what I do. I richened it, pulled timing, and nothing seems to cure it. Same 3-4 counts everytime.

1st thing: You've always had a lot of issues with ST Knock, so I'd caution anyone in taking your experience as a true testament of the tune. I believe a good part of your knock is unique to your car.
2nd: You really should have clear your LTFT before hammering on it. Depending on how accurately your larger injectors were scaled, the LTFT could be all over the place. I think the LTFT are a bit skewed, based on your wide range of A/F. btw, 12.2 is barely lean.
I'd be interested in seeing a datalog and a log of your A/F. What is your Boost spike psi? What year of PCM are you using?

5000-5300rpm seems to be the Bermuda Triangle of Knock on some cars. It just pops up out of no where and usually disappears just as quickly. Several of us, including Mindmelt and myself believe this knock isn't really Knock.
Do a couple tests:
1)Rev the engine in idle to ~5500 and see if the knock appears.
2)Re-torque your knock sensor to 185in-lb and retest.
3) Post a log showing a good example. I'd like to review and discuss the mystery Knock's profile.

Reset all my settings to the stock 93 performance tune and dropped a degree of timing from 4k-up and richened about 5% and in 2nd gear I got a max of 1 count at 4700rpm and then after I shifted to 3rd, knock was all over the place as soon as I floored it reaching upwards of 3-4 counts. I'll get a log file up as soon as I can get a passenger in the car who can work the DSP and log for me.

Hmm...I'm not sure how to take what you just said.....are you trying to say me and my car is full of shit? lol anyway for this test my stock injectors were put back in so lets clear that up..and i reset by disconnecting the battery, so that would not be the reason.....after driving the car for 3 day the afr's seems a little better but it still had knock so i retarded the timing from 4k-7k
-2* and added some fuel even tho it was rich in 4th gear. anyway the outcome was lower amounts of knock....in 2nd gear i had it down to 1.500 st knock and that were it had the most knock do to the afr's being leaner....and 3rd and 4th was 2* of st knock...but its not consistant. i called diablo to ask them what they think about it and they said try putting my stock wga back because i had the agp wga running non pcm boost spiking at 18psi...so i put the stock wga back on and got the same outcome....leaner in 2gear then gets richer in 3-4gear..i spike 16-17 psi with the stock wga.
duster pm me your e-mail i'll send you a couple logs to look at....the timing is alot higher with the diablo tune compared to my custom tune....with my custom tune the most i'll see if it even pops up is 2 counts of st knock....thats with the bigger injectors and lower timing. i'm gonna do a dyno compare soon if this guy is willing to work with me....i'm gonna dyno this tune vs my custom tune if he gives me the time in between runs to swap the injectors. if it wasn't for the knock and the weird afr's....the 93 oct tune feels pretty good...but once i put the stock wga on you can feel the diff. but i like it drivablity is great.
