So I went to the track last friday and it was pretty much the death of my stock clutch. Now I go wot and the revs go up real fast and the car doesnt go anywhere and its showing like 6kr and there was zero before. So is the clutch slipping showing up as knock? Its fine for daily driving but wot is useless now, going to save up for a new clutch during winter. Havent been able to get a log of it yet.

Yes clutch slip will show up as knock, seen this on several set ups.
I can see how it would attribute to knock, but the only thing I can say is that on MY specific car it doesn't knock. Either way slipping clutches suck bad
Ya, it seems like mine did it even when the clutch was not noticeably slipping. Like John at PTP said, if it slips for 100 rpms you might not notice it, but the PCM thinks you're knocking.
Be aware guys that the Knock that shows up when RPMs go crazy usually isn't real knock. Its the PCM Torque Managment freaking out and pulling timing.
I think RPM has to exceed a certain RPM/s. So it would depend on how bad the clutch is slipping.
Log pids: Desired Torque and Turbo Total TRQ desired,,they're both under Torque Managment. If both of these PIDs tank during the clutch slipping, the KR is just the TM pulling timing.
soon2bsrt, check it out and tell me if im wrong.

Correct, also a slipping clutch will make noise when it finally "hooks", causing knock and even sometimes show a missfire (really bad slipping clutch that slows down the motor then allows it to slip again).

Will get a log soon. Went to go out today and it was pouring rain.
