do you have to buy the interface thing that pwerks sells to be able to look at your tune and change parameters on the computer? instead of just on the handheld

You can't change anything using a computer. You can only make adjustments using the handheld. You also cannot look at tunes on a computer.

Only way to adjust via the computer is to have CMR. CMR is a dealer software, but they will sell it to you for the price. You do need either an RS232 DB9 (com1) connector on your PC or for the newer store bought pieces, a USB RS232 converter to hook to your Predator to datalog with Dataviewer.
