Tuning challenge... KTR VS. ESP VS. SWIFT VS. REALTUNE VS.N2MB
Hmmmm who should get my money...
KTR
Hmmmm i'm leaning toward KTR, only b/c it sounds like BTR and it would be cool to say "yo i'm BTR and I got tuned at KTR what now NIG*ASSS?"
KTR is also 9.7 million dollars for a tuning session
^^that is not the actual price of a KTR tuning session^^
ESP
I also hear good things about ESP (also cheaper than KTR), The people that have gone there have said good things and had good results.
But last time i was there (a while back) it seemed like the guys working there had no personality whatsoever, they all seemed generally pissed off or something whonos maybe they hate their jobs (not saying it has anything to do with their tuning ability but damn at least crack a smile while while i'm forking over my life savings), but then again i must remember not everyone is as funny, out going, and good looking as I am.
^^the above paragraph is a joke^^
SWIFT
heard good things about swift as well, they seem like nice friendly people.
not sure of their pricing but 1000 for an exhaust and intake seems a little pricey (perhaps they joined forces with KTR?), but they are kind enough to throw in a free wastegate
REALTUNE
pretty much the best in the business at this point, in terms of tuning etc............
ummm they are about 15 hours away, considering I could barely make it back from new hampshire without my upstream 02 failing on me why do I think its a bad idea to go out there? I'd hate to dyno a whopping 235 horsepower with a big turbo only to realize that one of my injectors isnt flowing properly and i'm 15 hours from home.
N2MB
I heard they were good, and they arent TOO far
but... hozay works there... sooooo.....
^^I am 100% kidding, I'm sure hozay is a nice man^^

no i havent yet but as soon as i get back in january to florida i am driving up to see him for sure the best is the best and worth the extra effort the only other people i would want to mess with it are dcr
yeah i mean n2mb they must suck having a 9 second street car..golly
on a sidenote , great things are done at RT but he is right...15 hour drive to find out hes got a bad wastegate gasket causing slow boost response and 140 hp on the dyno would suck...n2mb is about 4 hours from my house...much better then 15
Hozay, give this guy a couple of 10ths and make him happy.

I was also thinking... If I were to get a flat tire on the way to.... well basically anywhere, my donut will not clear the front because of the big brake kit. So I have to pray its the rear that blows out (sounds odd doesnt it? "oh gawd rear tires please blow out")
wait but didn't Aaron tune the red sled?
can someone on here actually chime in and give feedback on places that they've actually BEEN to?
Been to swift for dyno days, they did some quick tuning on peoples cars and they left happy. Haven't had them tune my car though. Connsrt is there today tuning his e1.
And Victor Research in CT, but they tune mostly dsm's I believe
