Default Summary of my piss poor transaction with Slowboy

Avoid Slowboy Racing & Kinetic motorsports AT ALL COSTS

I don't want any locals getting fucked over like I did ... be smart & purchase from the credible, honest vendors on here like AGP, Pwerks, Realtune, n2mb, Modern Performance, etc.

If anyone gets a turbo kit. Go with AGP. You wont regret it.

EXACTLY ... even if it's a couple bucks more, you won't have ANY regrets ... I've run a few of the AGP turbo's & never once had a problem & even if I did, I know that AGP would be sure to fix the problem & appease me

Slowboy seems to be doing everything possible to piss me off

x2, I've had my AGP 50 trim for 8k miles with NO issues whatsoever. When I asked to swap my .63 turbine housing with a .48, they did so free of charge!

I also have their SCT flash. I've called Kevin multiple times with questions about the SCT flash, and I've always gotten him on the first try and he's more than willing to answer any question.

I couldn't be happier with AGP

I bought some stuff for my old car from slowboy, no problems what so ever! I have heard/read some horror stories lately about them! I did hear that they sold out a few weeks ago, and a few locals have been "helping out" getting the cars done, that were there, before the new owners come in, so maybe thats the problem!
I still dont agree with you not getting what you paid for, and i hope everything works out for you Nate! Ill see if I can get a hold of a kid i know is trying to get some of the cars done up there, and see whats going on for you! If i find anything out ill pm you!

Whoa wait a sec, JeffB from slowboy was JeffB with the Blue built SRT a couple years back?

I bought my CTI intercooler off of him when he was parting out his car. The deal was trade for stock + 300 which i thought was decent at the time. Only sucky thing was driving from Maine to Mass to get it. When i got there he was trying to pull the " i can't get the headlights out so i can't take the front facia off".. He originally wanted me to leave my intercooler so he could swap them the following weekend at a buddies house where he was pulling the built motor. Then he said he'd drive it up to Maine after..

Thats when I then told him you don't need to take out the headlights to take off the front facia. needless to say i had the CTI IC off in a couple hours and even put on the stocker and facia for him before leaving.

Your situation is bullshit Nate, and JeffB definitely doesn't care about customer service. I'll never buy from SBR now
