at a local car show in Wallingford. What a big disappointment. While it has somewhat nice looks, Chrysler always manages to screw up the final production run from what the concept looked like. When he started it up and drove off, you couldn't even hear the Hemi running.

I Dunno Ed. I still like the look. Kinda has that sexy back end going for it.
Er. The Challenger. We're still talking about the car right?
Price is too high. Next year they will be in full production.
Screw it. Once the 93 Stealth is done (fall) I'm going to build a 93 - 92 RT-TT or VR4 and retire from the whole car/truck scene. 30 some odd years. I've had enough. Gonna garage everything, get a Yugo for a daily and call it a done-day.

Yup . . . Huge disappointment. We both seen it at the NY car show and it was a huge disappointment to both me and my daughter who was a huge fan of it. When she saw it, she's like Dad, they totally screwed it up from the concept. And when I heard it start and drive off, it was nowhere the sound of the old school Hemi's I grew up with. It was as quite as a mouse. And yes, the price is outrageous.
Now the new Camero at the NY car show was totally awsome. Lets see if they manage to screw that one up.
I love the little Smart car. Seen it at the NY show and its well put together. A little turbo on it and they baby will fly.
