Default Scooby Dooby Doo!

Yep, I got a new car

Don't WORRY - I STILL HAVE MY SRT This is my new DD and I love it. I still love the SRT too, and its my weekend, go F'n really fast car now.

Its a 2006 Subaru Forester XT Limited with about 60k on the clock. For those that don't know, this car is based of the Impreza, and has the EJ255 (ala STi motor) with the TD04 from WRX's. Its like a big ass boxy WRX that sits about 8.5 inches off the ground lol. Subaru even make STi versions in Europe and Japan, and its very popular in the Forester community to turn their XT's into STi's from parts from the Impreza STi believe it or not.

I had my heart set on a Legacy GT, but then I drove one of these and realized this is more practical for me. Its an Auto, and I'm ok with that -- it should trap about 92-94 mph bone stock. Best part is anything you can do the STi's/WRX's I can to do this thing, even all the exhausts bolt right up as well as all suspension parts, believe it or not, this car handles better than my SRT did with coilovers, its amazing. It has a 5x100 bolt pattern to boot

I've already taken it off road a few times , then after that, shit all over a v8 300c, the look on the kids face was priceless, brakeboosting at a light FTW.

As far as modding it goes, I don't know alot about the Suby's yet, other than I LOVE AWD -- I was thinking of maybe Stage 2 eventually? I don't know, but first things first are new tires Maybe some All Terrains But my liscence plate starts with '16g' which came that way from the RMV, maybe its a sign, and omen maybe?

Its kind of something I jumped into not really realizing what I was getting, just knew I liked it for some reason. So far its been great and has surprised me alot with its speed and off road abilities. I've had it for about a week so far. I now have three cars, my Saab, the Forester and the SRT, so the Saab's gotta go soon, I'll let you all know when I sell that.

Anyways, onto the PIC's

Enjoy,

I hopefully can take it up to NED tomm night (8/15) and see how she goes, I'm expecting about a 92mph trap and about a 15.1-14.9 , the 5 speeds are about mid 14's @ 94-96.. go figure

The Subaru Forester is great for lesbians with kids or dogs. It's as roomy as a SUV, but drives like a car. With 4WD, anti-lock brakes and side air bags, it's one of the safest cars on the market. It handles well on road and off. This is the perfect car for outdoorsy types. Take it camping or snow boarding with no worries!

haha, yes, I bought my angry Lesbo-mobile -- maybe I'll drive over to North Hampton MA and make some friends while listening to Melissa Ethridge

Ultimate -- do you have stock parts (intercooler, turbo?) you need to get rid of? LOL

And Tim, I agree 100% --- best mod is a new car haha.

You can really fold down the back seats flat in this thing and sleep, i plan on taking it camping at the end of the month.

kinda funny....here local is prolly one of the most well known Forester tuners

Snowman Performance

he doesnt live far from me but anyhow he started out with a Forester and did a complete Wrx STI transplant. Very clean car and very well executed now for his abilities i know he tunes and offers other things for the car. Ive always liked the XT more than the WRX (non Sti)....while its not a looker it is a sleeper....
