Official New England SRT Owners Club Association, Meeting Dec.Pending R.I.
In this Meeting we will discuss:
Construction of a real Automotive Club (Not just forum based).
Forming the local chapters.
Legalities, responsibilities as a formed Automotive Club.
Club Association By-Laws (so we don't have Tom, Dick and Harry doing burn outs, power slides and bad conduct on public roads as a club.)
Election of Club Officers (Director, President, Treasurer, Event Coordinator, Marketing coordinator)
Club Dues Single/Family (Family: This allows a member to bring his/hers family to events or BBQ's)
What can you put in towards this club?
Chosen Marketing Coordinators can start doing the footwork on cards, stickers, decals, wear etc....
Lets get started shall we!!!!
In this meeting we need to have ready:
* Candidates for Office (For Voting)

A - Club Dues = $15 per year suggestion (if voted on), that can be discussed in the first meeting and voted on.
Q - I would be in but I don't own a srt4 anymore, does a turbo pt count?
A - I'm sure once it is formed (the club), it will be Chrysler vehicle friendly.
Q - It's to far for me, why should I go?
A - It is the first organizational meeting for the new club forming, represent your local chapter (state). It is a Meeting open to all. I'm sure it will be a long day.

Now when you're talking club dues, as long as they aren't insanely expensive (like some others are) then I'm all for it. Being a full time student I fail at having alot of extra cash to roll around.

Excellent question.
This is family oriented type of club, not elite type like them "Dub" clubs etc.
I am thinking maybe $15 per year? that's like 14, 5 piece chicken nuggets at wendys for the year!
my Z club does $18 per year. I have seen the newer type of cars charge $50+ per year and some do $40 monthly.
$15 per year sounds reasonable, that way anyone can join and be part of it. Even a bum on the street can join at that kind of Due, that's like only 300 cans.
Obviously the higher the dues then the more activities can be done as a club without having people to fork extra cash over. But to start off $15 sounds like a fair due.
Again that's $15 per year suggestion (if voted on), that can be discussed in the first meeting and voted on.
And BTW I am no way an Officer of the club, I am just helping to push this along finally.

I'm sure once it is formed (the club), it will be Chrysler vehicle friendly. I don't think many people will oppose.
A step after forming, it is up to members to get "in" oher SRT vehicle owners.
Hop to it President!! Ha ha pioneer of all that is NESRTOC. The only thing I will not do...okay two things...is drag the car or put a sticker on it. Everything else I'm all for.
