that part doesn't make sense.
Do you have a multimeter Nate? Set the meter to Amps, take the positive terminal off the battery, and put the meters leads in series with the cable and the positive post. If there is any draw (anything over say like 2 amps) then pull fuses until it drops off and you have found the circuit in question.
I forgot how exactly I powered the pump and dtec (I think the dk blue IGN wire at the ignition harness) so either of those wouldn't make any sense unless the ign switch was shorting and sending 12v down the switched 12v wire all the time, however you would be able to tell because the fuel dash lights (abs, cel, ect.) would be on with the keys out of the cylinder.
