Default Need Help!

Well some of you know me some of you don't but anyways. I was away for a while and now I'm home and broke. I did just find a job but let me get straight to the point.....

My e-brake don't really work, well actually it DON'T work at all. My car has what I'm sure to be a vacuum leak and a boost leak. I know A thing or two about cars but right now I'm at a loss with no tools or jacks or anything. What I really need is some help changing this damn oil. (p.s. auto zone has Mobil1 5+ quart jug and Mobil1 Filter for 32.00 after tax). If anyone has jacks and stand or can help me somehow that would be great, I can get dirty and change it i just don't have the equipment ...i live in Worcester!

Yep, that's Martin. I'm his girlfriend, Pie. (Yes, it's only a nickname, and no - don't ask.)

I'm around all day, but he doesn't get home from work until about 4 or so. I'll talk with him when he gets here today, and let you know when it's cool to stop by

So my car is boosting like 9lbs now but for some reason it feels like its pulling harder! After the oil change it moves a lot smoother. My E-brake works perfect

You guys rock, your family is awesome!

So after seeing how smoothly every thing went tonight there is a duralast 5-pc set at auto zone, A 2-ton Jack, Jack Stands, Creeper, Tire Iron, and Wheels blocks. Its on sale for $50 normally $60. Would that be good/safe for someone like me (oil changes, tire rotations, and other small things)?

Do eet! We have Duralast jack and the jackstands that your car was on were Duralast as well (bought for 40$). If nothing else, all of it is useful at some point in time. Creeper = tool of the gods.

I think that because of tightening the loose hose clamps it tried to boost more and something popped off somewhere. I'd check for that in the morning (or whenever you go to zip tie everything).

And don't forget that everything we had out tonight we also use to drop the tranny. So yeah, jacks/stands are always good to have

Sounds like fun :P If it's nice tomorrow, I might take off the exhaust manifold and the head, if I get time.
