If you guys head west on that parkway the HI is on you come to a huge plaza in like 5 or so miles. There is a D&B there, Walmart and Stop & Shop (which both carry alcohol in NY), Applebee's etc. Just an FYI. I'm not staying Sunday, I'm staying Saturday into Sunday...I'll be driving home on Sunday.
I'm looking to get a room for saturday night too (I'm comming up from FL). I want a goodnight's sleep before the meet. I dont want to just show up at 10am at the park after driving 20 hrs. do you have any deals or are you just paying normally?
I'm just paying normally. Matt the place I stayed at two years ago, the Hilton, is totally booked solid. Thats why I posted that up in the main memorial day meet thread because I called like 6 hotels and they were all booked solid for saturday night. I might not be in bed by 8 lol I was just kidding. I don't know what time I'm getting there yet though because I have to figure out my work schedule. Picked up a Navi too, which will hardcore come in handy when I'm down there.

I finally called today for group reservations for Sunday May 25th, 2008... our group rate is going to be $139/night and you must reserve your room(s) by 4-25-08 (little over a week from today)
when you call, you have an option of a single or double room (same price, $139) and smoking or non-smoking (also the same price, $139) ... you must also use a CC to reserve the room ... just use the group reservation "SRT" when you call
lastly, if anyone wants to cancel their reservations, you have until 6pm the night before we're staying (5-24-08) to cancel otherwise your CC will be charged $139
