Default Looking into a 44lb Stage 3 set up

Well im looking into picking up a used 44lb stage 3 set up, with 3" 02, and AGP WGA.
Currently im running a FBM ported E1, with stage 2/3 injectors, Stage 1 pcm, and bolt ons. I was wondering if the 44lb stage 3 would benefit me alot from my current set up and how much more i could expect. I know the stage 2/3 injectors will probably not be enough fuel (unless i could be wrong) but i was wondering what most people with this set up were using and what type of numbers they were putting down. All help would be appreciated because im hoping to pick this up really soon if it would be a good idea.

Never run it, but I'm betting you could max out a tad over 400WHP. The injectors will definitely be out of fuel at that power level, you'd probably have to look into 650's at minimum.

Check out the Turbo section for more info, I don't think many NE'ers run big wheel stage 3's.

There's a 44 lb s3 in Canada that runs 11.1 @ 129, definitely seems like a nice setup.

im runnin my 44lb s3 setup on all s3 control and top end i run out of fuel. thats with the stock stage 3 wga. i have a fuel pump rewire and 615 cc injectors waiting to go in so i can pop the agp wga on. i like the setup a lot. it drives like stock but there is a good deal of power on tap.

you dont need a s3 pcm persay, but ide reccomend it if you dont wanna deal with all the tuning and stuff. youde have to pick up the s3 rail also. but if your cool with tuning and whatnot stay with the s1 pcm

Or you can opt for an SCT or Diablo tune, both of which you can tune with the vendors.

I have a feeling that the Stage 3 pcm will be the better way to go just to make everything easier.. but then agian i dont know if the stage 2/3 injectors will be enough to feed the 44lb stage3. So if i had to get like 650's or something im sure a SAFC would be needed to pull fuel down low? Any one have any experience with this set up or similar?

stage3matt runs dwerks 650's on a s3 pcm and stock s3 turbofold. It seems to work pretty well for him without an safc. But obviously an safc might help to make a bit more power for you.

actually they are DW S2s which are 590@3 bar, 680@4 bar, and 760s@5bar (s3 75psi)

yeah they work great for me at the time being. I will be going with most likely 650s/SAFC after the winter though.

im runnin the s2 injectors on the 44lber and the afrs are fine. mid 11's at stock s3 boost, when it gets to 6250rpms it leans out to 12.2 but i have a fuel pump rewire that i have to get off my butt and put in so it should bring the topend afrs back into the 11's
