Good shop near Groton CT? New to the area - SRT Forums

Im in the navy and just transferred from London, UK to Groton CT. Prior to shipping off my car back to the states the clutch was slipping a little bit around 3000 RPM, right in boost territory, but drove fine other than that. It still shifted like butter, and I had just changed the tranny fluid with Mopar +4 ATF. Anyway the car made it as far as Baltimore MD, and now they are telling me the car will not go into gear. I have never had any problems with this car before, other than a VERY minor 3rd gear grind, indicating a worn or slightly bent shift fork. Anyway, im praying it is just the clutch, which I am ordering today. Does anyone know of a reputable shop in or near Groton CT where I can take it to get the new clutch installed? Or does anyone have any experiance swapping out a clutch and can help me when I get it here? Any help would be great as this is my only car right now and Im having to drive a rental till I get her fixed.

I saw a silver one last week driving onto base. I was behind it in a blue hyundai santa fe rental. I also saw an orange one out on gold star hwy last week. Still waiting on my clutch. Car is at the VPC in NYC. Going out tomorrow to check it out. Dreading the towing bill.

It's not too far to drive, but MASSSRT and myself have quite a bit of experience swapping clutches, lol. We dropped the tranny three times in a month, once to put my clutch on, and then again to put his new spec clutch on. The third time was basically for shits and giggles.
