Default Compression Test Results

I started this day wondering why my car has begun chugging a bit at first cold start up with a puff of white smoke. At first I was assuming a leaky injector, but today I did notice a bit of a sweet smell to it. PCV is fine as is the oil (level and color) and coolant looks normal, so I went to work and grabbed a crappy "OEM" compression test gauge.

1 - 120
2 - 120
3 - 100
4 - 120

I am hoping this is just because it is a shitty tool I realize they aren't all too far off, but they are a bit lower than I would like.

Looks like the car may be going down for winter sooner than I anticipated. Luckily I believe I still have a 5layer HG lying around somewhere.

Just tested a friends car with over 100K 145 ish on all cylinders. I'd go get another gauge and check. Though they are close, 120s seems low.

Some compression is better than no compression.
