I think you should try to post in another section again. I see nothing in your profile that would keep you from posting outside of this section. If it doesn't work, I can try something but I think you'll be fine.

Go to the section in which you want to post a new thread, about 2-3 inches down from the top of the screen, there will be a NEW THREAD button, click that. I'm 99% sure you'll be able to do it. But try it in a different section.
