Well , actually he posted somthing like " Or we could do this" and posted a link to a wonderful FS plug-in .
He said nothing about actually upgrading( ill go back & doublecheck ) . I thought I had stepped into a previous argument , like he wanted this , but was denied , and my post was a pawn or something . if thats the future plan , thats great .

-How to section really needs the stickey to be updated or cleaned up a bit
-Mods in FS section and Senior/Junior mods outside OT have been doing a great job, really helped me out when I had some issues. Thank you guys for that!
-I am so tired of the vendor nuthugging...but I don't think anything can be done about that Cylinder head thread comes to mind.

thank you sir. Yes i agree we need someone active in the how to section to clean it up take some time. FS section is great now . About the vendor nuthugging no there is nothing we can do about it unless it turns to a huge argument and the vendors are degrading each other.

mods making attacks on users with out any consequences is imo a load of crap. user then say stuff to mods and they get infractions. not any of the senior mods mostly section mods.

if someone is bashing your car for what ever reason bash there car back. if the mod knows the person the mod should show a bit of class/maturity and not take things to a personal lvl.

having mods that are also vendor imo is no bueno. due to the fact that when info about a vendors products is posted. if that vendor is a mod and does not like what is said they can just delete the post. that way the review of the product from the user is not being seen. also the fact that a mod that is a vendor imo seems to have a lil more push as far as products go. due to the power to delete a negative review/s that a user/s has posted about a product. by deleting the review it allows them to to produce hype about there stuff that is not needed.

ex: when that guy that makes the s3k and ssts for ptp posted up the real dyno numbers of the car and what the s3k is capable of. the thread was deleted.
also the sompany making the turbos gave a lower price and not a marked up one. why delete there post if they are trying to get people a product for cheaper?

i swear this made sense in my head when i thought about it

Lol I hate when something sounds so great in your head then when you read it back to yourself, you go

Thanks for the feedback. We'll look into it. If you have and specific examples of these things occurring (Infractions, abuse of power, etc) feel free to PM one of the Junior or Senior Mods

If you guys post something that isn't constructive or that is off topic, it will be deleted. If you feel the need to continue this or come in and bash the moderators, you will be issued infractions. If you keep going, you will be banned.

This is a place for people to post legitimate suggestions abut the site and/or staff; Not bash them. If you don't have anything constructive to say, just keep your mouth shut.

Thank you to the rest of you who have provided good feedback. We are currently discussing fixes to everyone's problems as we speak.

x2 on this.

This is a serious thread to make serious posts. If you want to bash or fuck around, head to another thread. THIS IS NOT THE THREAD TO GO OT IN.

ok, I just want to throw this out there so everyone is aware. If it is possible to enable 3 letter searches (as in, talking admins and site owners into doing it) the site will likely have to go down while the search function re-indexes the whole site. No new posts can usually be made during this time because they may not get indexed. How long this would take? can't tell ya. This has been the biggest reason (along with killing the servers while such searches are taking place) why it hasn't been implemented up to this point.

Tired of the stupid uninformed people!! Someone please sticky this or make it a site wide note or something! And no, I'm not kidding!

HOW TO: Search Forums w/ Less than 3 Letter Words (With Pictures!)

Step 1: Lets say you are browsing the srtforums when you come across a question. You go, HEY! I should search! Because I'm not a newb and want to search before I post!

Step 2: I'm going to search for WGA, because I want added power on my stock turbo!! Oh no!!! I can't!!

Step 3: Go up to the search bar, and type the exact same search into the google bar, located conviently just below it!

Step 4: ENJOY THE RESULTS FROM THE 3 LETTER SEARCH! And while you're at it, use this convient list of abbreviated words to test out your new skills!!: The Official Performance Mod Abbreviation Glossary

Step 5 (Optional): Maybe you want to go do it the old way. Click open a new tab or browser and conviently type in Google. Then precede to type in site:SRTforums.com - Dodge SRT Forums - SRT4, SRT6, SRT8, SRT10 and Dodge Forum into the browser with whatever you want to search after it.

Step 5.1: If you want to search in a specific forum, just go to that forum, get the link and use it in your google search! For example, I want to search for WGA just in the performance modifications forum:

Step 6 (NOT Optional): Thank CrEaTrE because he makes the obvious easy!!! For example:

\/ OH! And in case you ever forget! There is a helpful link that will remain in my signature so I can ROFL LOL LMAO at any nubs that post that they can't search 3 letter words!! LOOK BELOW! \/

Maybe this is just me, but it happens on all three computers in my household and what I use at work. This is the SLOWEST TO LOAD forum I have ever been on. Off-road forums no problems, RC Crawler web sites, with far more active members, and no problems. This is the slowest to load forum I have ever been part of. Is it the script the forum is in? Is it waiting for the adds to load? (no I'm not going to buy a membership) I don't know. The delay always seems to be loading the headings, the first add and the outline of the page, once that stops blinking and centering itself, the text pops up no problem, sometimes having to refresh the page just to get text to load. I have a "high speed" cable connection. Even doing a search with Google and it brings me here, loading the page really borders on me clicking off the result and looking somewhere else. RCCrawler.com- Your #1 source for Radio Controlled Rockcrawling! has an extensive and easy to load web site to look at, you may not like the content, personal taste, but the layout and functionality is very good in my opinion, and loads nicely.

I also have a problem with people bashing others for not doing a search for there question. Sometimes pointing out the search is needed, but as in the case of the thread of "What is the best intercooler" is out of date to say the least, and does NOT cover all brands available and can not be the be all end all question answering thread some people say it is, because technology changes. That thread is only one example.
Sorry, I am not the kind of person to offer fixes, but I love to bitch.
