I've been a forum admin for many years now and am very familiar with how vbulletin works and how communities interact, etc. I believe I've suggested some of this before, but it was either overlooked or there was never any explanation as to why it couldn't happen.

I think this is a very important feature in terms of helping people find threads on the site and reducing clutter. I realize this will take some db power, but it's worth it. If you're worried about saving a query on post pages, disable "Users currently viewing this thread"

Another stock feature in 3.8 that can help people find what they want. There are so many useful things that come out of tagging posts, including more search engine attention. There are also
auto-tagger hacks that will tag old posts

I'm only bringing this up because I noticed the thank you hack on caliberforums. This hack is great for identifying helpful posts that members make on the forums, and then tagging them as such:
