If you want vendor info PM one of us if that is what you are looking for.
PM you? I'm telling you right here, right now. Email me info on becoming a vendor to juan@snailmotorsports.com.
Does anyone else see a problem with this? Am I not being clear enough here? I gotta send a PM to an individual when I'm clearly stating my intentions in a public area where more than one staff member can help me?

You question my ability to contact your staff. Is this how you treat everyone that inquires about the main source of income for your organization? A little bit of respect and tact will get you far.
I'm missing the point you're making about a time line. A year from what to what? Please make clear statements when dealing with dates, including a starting and ending point from a specific event.
You just pointed out that I am wasting my time contacting any of your 30+ staff members since Nadeem is the only person who can answer my questions in regards to becoming a vendor. Also, if he doesn't personally handle it, then who do I need to contact? This is business we're talking about. I don't discuss money via PM or threads. I consider email and phone calls the most effective method of communication when it comes to dealing with my business' financial decisions.
You've had attitude from post #2. I had no knowledge of this situation, nor your desire to become a vendor before this thread. Even so, not knowing the entire situation and history of this issue, I'm feeling some serious attitude from your posts. Are you justified in this? Maybe, I don't know...but this would be a good time to follow some of your own advice. Assumptions are the mother of all fuckups.
Nadeem is not the only one who can answer questions. He is the direct point of contact for SRT Forums though. All mods have the information to give out in regard to vendor inquiries. I'll send you that right now.
Thank you for sending me the info via PM. Although I have to admit, this whole thing is a joke. You basically just sent me a PM with an email address to another random person I have to contact. Although more useful than any other attempt made by JohnnyB, it's still ridiculous that anyone has to go through this many hoops to get an answer to such a simple question.

Next time instead of making a thread that asks the owner of a site to contact you about something not made clear, maybe you should post "Can someone please send me the information regarding vendor status on SRTFORUMS?".
I'd like to just interrupt for a moment here, generally when users aren't getting the answers they are looking for they tend to get a little edgy, doesn't do much good when the moderators fuel the fire by pointing out that the user's attitude and such.
I'd say just let stowaway work on this and just understand that juan is a bit ticked off, nothing more *shrugs*

I do not see any attitude on my second post. As you clearly stated you had no knowledge of the situation before this thread. This is due to a lack of communication amongst your staff.
My posts are professional and to the point. If they are taken the wrong way it is most likely because the reader is not aware of the entire situation and clearly demonstrates a more sensitive personality than my own.

This certain user claims he contacted multiple moderators yet none of us have any PM's from him about anything.

This is a ridiculous request. I asked to be contacted by ANYONE who was available. The subject is irrelevant, when a customer emails my shop and asks to be called, they get a call back right away.

because that's what we get. Autoforums keeps the packages semi-private because you can work packages with multiple forums, you can purchase sponsorship for specific sections of a forum, and you can become a vendor with or without your own section.

That is because you own an actual shop. This is an INTERNET forum. Business on this forum is handled mainly via Pm's and emails, which you, the person who wants to do business with this forum, usually has to initiate.

This certain user has a name. My name is Juan and I prefer to be referenced this way.
The situation in regards to the editing of my signature was never approached in a professional manner. Simply deleting a signature that had been in place for months without anyone contacting the infraction is wrong.
This specific situation should have been handled differently. Instead of slapping a warning on my profile and deleting my signature... How about offering information on how to become a vendor and asking for the signature to be modified?

Stowaway gave you a Warning not an infraction, which explained in the message you received as to why you received that warning. If you had responded to his PM about wanting vendor status then I am 100% positive that he would have given it to you.

You can't link to a non-vendor in your sig. This is just a warning.
The signature rule and our handling of it has been the same for many years. Being volunteers we often don't have the time to send PMs and have conversations regarding things we see. We often will edit a signature once and leave it at that. Then if we see it again we'll edit and leave a message regarding why it was remove. After that we will issue a warning or infraction.
Also, warnings and infractions are only visible by yourself and senior staff members and admins. You are not tagged for everyone to see.
