Current list of Problems as of 10/29/2008 and changes

Problems that we are aware of:
- Search function not working 100% ( trying to get autoforums to fix the problem)
- Quick Link Item links not working.
- Chat Menu "users online" not displaying

Changes that occurred during the last day :

Vendor Section listed in 2 columns this is for compacting the main page only, until we can get the site back to 100% this view will remain.
this also includes the regional forums.

Who is online listing:

SRTforums administrators are shown in red
SRTforums retired/inactive admins are shown in green
Autoforums administrators are shown in silver
SuperMods are show in a light blue

And also the addition of this forum.

Another one:

When you click on the "Search" drop down, one of the Ford banner advertisements is scripted in such a way that it stays in front of the search text box, so you can't see what you are typing or if the cursor is even there, unless you hit Refresh and hope that a different advertisement comes up.

can you get a screenshot of the problem?

I dont get ads as an admin...

maybe I can do some template changes to fix the problem

In the vendor section we were able to click on a link to a vendor's site if they had one, now I don't see any links for their site.

this is temporary until we can stream line the section

i might have people choose the subsection first before they get a full listing of vendors.

search is better but not perfect
it doesnt seem to pull up all the threads
if you search by posts/threads by a certain user
it will pull some but not all of them up

Any issues lately with latency? It seems to be slower then it use to be and at times I get the following error:

ERROR
Connection Error

i have tried to contact other mods on here but no one has been able to help the thus far;
my problem is that i only receive private messages in my email and NOT on here. maybe someone can be of some help?

User CP > Edit Options > Enable private messaging.

hi i have a problem with replying to threads 60% of the time its fine then the other 40% of the time i go to post and it says user ip banned... i donno whats going on or if it happens to someone else... please help
