93$ from the dealership...though another dealer had it for 79$. i think i am going to call them back and verify it is the right part before i drive to des moines to get it.

Damn this thread exploded from last time I checked. I'm always down for some type of event, winter blows though.

Thanks for the feedback guys, most people say "Whats an Omni?" I usually tell people it looks like a rusty VW Rabbit, and they say ohhhh, its not a VW?

There's a pretty big group of car guys in Ames/DSM that are mostly students.

I guess I did not remember correctly. LOL For some reason i was thinking it was inthe 40's but that was more than a year ago and I'm old.

well i got to the dealership last night...it took me three and a half hours to go 80 miles! they gave me it for 80$, but i have not put it in yet. the car has been acting fine!! define old...i am 26, not old but damn, do i hurt after working out!

I'm 40 with four kids

Some days I hurt after a workout, some days not. I can't drink like I did when I was 26, I feel it for two days

I can't drink like I did when I was 21! I used to be able to get hammered, go to bed at 3 or 4, get up at 6 and run for a few miles...now I can't remember what I've said as the night progresses!

a little west of Cedar Rapids. I make it over to your neck of the cornfield once or twice each year and hit the wings shop. be fun sometime to meet with ya guys

Well fella's

It looks like I won't get to meet any of ya. I just excepted a position in Virginia and probably will be leaving within the next week. My family will follow some time during the summer.
