There is no scene in Iowa City that I know of, but thats not to say that I missed something...

93 Would be a nice find, the only place that had it in the Iowa City area closed from a fire...

The place in Lincoln (DynoSport) would be my preferred place to go, but thats a decent drive from here, especially towing...

I see a bunch of SRT's around town, but I'm usually on my bike...

I popped either a core plug or head gasket in my car earlier this week, who wants to help fix it in a few weeks?

so its getting worse now? we can meet up sometime so i can see what your talking about, but im not really sure what it would be, unless your plugs are misgapped or are bad? but i thought you already said you replaced those.

as far as the guy needing help with the head gasket, im always down to work on a srt. let us know when your gonna need a hand.

Well, I'm kinda stoked now, I just figured out Newton raceway has an 1/8th mile drag strip 62 miles away. Its closer than I was to Cordova or Earlville when I lived in Iowa City.

Now to get my car fixed... This week hopefully I'll get a chance to figure out whats wrong, spent last week out of the country.

P-Unit, you're welcome to help out once I find out whats going on, but its not an SRT, its an Omni that has a ton of custom fabbed stuff in it... I'll let you know whats up when I know.

Got it fixed today. It wasn't nearly as hard as I anticipated. I was able to drive the new core plug in through the exhaust tunnel with a really long extension and wobble socket. Back on the road, boost fell back to 14psi again... but thats easy.

We should get together at the track sometime.

I saw someone driving around in a blue srt-4 today too while I was out in the Omni.... Dakota ave I think?
