Well... I might but I'm still trying to decide on what turbo to go with. There are so many to choose from. Lately I've been reading about the Gt2871r. Fast spool and good power, not a dyno queen.

*Side note* Matt we need to hook up sometime. I might want to put my vac lines back in and do a boost leak test.

with my cams set up real tight on timing its at 2650ish full bore by 2950 it climbs from 2psi to 18psi quick but very smooth.... The rpm's on the other hand fly by so fast once its spooled you have to re-learn how to shift faster... more along the lines of 5200 rpm to catch a good wot, b/c it rips the last of the rpm's to the limiter in no time flat

Ill tell you one thing about it, when you get one and wot from 4th to 3rd @55mph hold the hell on cause its gonna pick the tires up and roast em

I have been able to keep up with the stock turbo off the line 3 times now, and when you hit 3rd gear the stocker is gonna look like its going backwards

NICE!.... So you do the tuning yourself? Alot guys around Des Moines are scared to go big turbo because of the "Tuning" factor. Also not many even know how.

That sounds good. So do you have a Dtec? WHere in Iowa are you again?
I hear that Dtec is easier to tune with than Apexi.

I'm not very good at wiring/soldering shit... Hell thats why I dont have a AEM wideband and Mcord powerplate yet.

yep Dtec very easy to install/use and the ability to street tune is actually easy with a little bit of memory it holds, so you can data log a couple runs then adjust or have a buddy that kinda knows what a/f#'s mean and can adjust on the fly.

I live on the WEST side of Iowa Sioux city, up north of Omaha by 80 miles or so

GT30R

or AGP 50 trim

I've ridden in both of these types back in Florida and I can tell you they rock. Installation is fun...you'll make up new curse words trying to get the old O2 housing off (unless you get the right tools)
