Default Scrape....scrape...scrape...yet again-that damned diverter

Any other local winter-driven SRT owners come across this yet?

Just like last year - Several inches of snow and that damned power steering air diverter underneath starts dragging along the ground because one of the plastic screw/attachment dealios gets popped off. And just like last year, I'll have to crawl underneath and bend and hook a trash bag twist-ties (my emergency solution last season)/or dig up some plastic ties to hook it back on. I should just rip the stupid thing off.

Funny thing is when I first picked up the car and crawled underneath it, I KNEW that was going to rear it's ugly head at some point.

Sorry, just a little bored at work and figure I would try and add a little activity to this here quietest of boards.

That hapened to me too. I replaced the screws with rivets and that took care of the problem.

Good idea. I'll give that a try.

I wish I had a decent garage. It's just your typical apt. garage, read-cold this time of year, no light/electrical source/cramped space. I'll have to wait until it gets above 10, or head to a buddies house to work on it this weekend.

Brrr. I remember that. I used to live in North Dakota, it really sucked if anything on your ride broke in the winter.

LOL...that sucks. Hasn't happened to me yet, but I do hit every little chunk of snow with that thing. Everytime I drive down the road and there is some snow in the middle sticking up some I just wait for the "thump"...

How dare you make me count my blessings! *Slashes at you with the air diverter*

Besides, we know how much that damned garage has cost me in time and money. Methinks it would have been better to park it outside. Hrrrmmm....a high price to pay for not having to scrape windows in the morning.

So, I'm guessing yours is sitting outside then? At least it'll stay relatively clean.
