I'm thinking about building the motor and going with the t88!
But I've already had three offers on the car from people at like, wal-mart and shit someone offered me 36,000 and I only paid 15,000 for it. So I might just sell it and put the money in my srt or something like that.
nice, is it a manual TT?
15k is a really good deal.

you should see what you can sell it for...then take that...dump 5-7g's in it..then see the value double...i find it rather amazing a 10-13 year old car still holds a value higher than most sports cars today...i don't see how it works but oh well hopefully some day i'll have me an M3 =]]] i love those cars..they're so sexy but maybe i can be like you since i'll be starting a 240 project sometime...and i've been consiering the 2jz as my centerpeice of action
My buddy has a Blue 01 M3, and let me tell you, the S54 engine is a piece of art. The only problem is, if you want build it up, or get any power out of it, you are talking a LOT of money. The ECU is so much of a pain to crack, there are only 2 companys right now that has a piggy back that will work. One of them being HPF (Horsepower Freaks) their kit STARTS at 16k. (no labor included).
With that being said, I think it was the fame that put the Supra where it is today. I remember when you could get a semi-low miles Supra M6 for about 15-17k. Then getaway in stockholm 2 came out, and then after that Fast and the Furious. These 2 things I think started the era of the Supra and the pricing go to sky high.

very very very true. Thats the only thing i would never be able to get an M3 for is the damn price...anything above 365hp is basically another M3 in money wise. But that motor is glorious its smooth and it just sounds soooo good. As for the Supra...i have to agree. After fast and furious is when everybody wanted one...and to meet supply and demand...they had to do something..i really wish it was like the older days...so i could of got one...but supras are pretty expensive to build as well...but its well worth it =]...before this car i almost bought a 240sx with a HKS 6 speed and built RB26 stroked to a 2.7 it was a GLORIOUS peice of machine but the owner wanted 12000 for it and i would of got it but i didn't have enough credit to pull a capital one loan so i couldn't..plus it had no AC and we all know how oklahoma is

o common now.. u kno the air condition was no big deal in a car like that. i think you could have lived.

damn you caught me haha i would of honestly...i actually tested it out the entire summer lol...when i could i would drive with no AC only time i turned AC on is when i forgot to roll down windows and i turned it on to cool the cabin off but AC wouldn't of been anything to me in that car i really wouldn't of cared...oh it had everything...t88, built bottom end, hks cams and gears, anything you can think of that motor had..on top of that it was the R34 N1 bulletproof block =[ pump gas ran 785hp...the car wasn't running a full interior either it had the backseats removed and stuff but other than that...i would of cried everytime i drove that car....but i think i made a smart decision with not buying it...because one of two things would of happen...i would of gotten a ticket x 561564645654654 OR i would of crashed it...plus if something broke on that thing...i would of been in a dark dark world...the clutch itself was 1600 and the transmission ran around 8k used
I have been twice, I had to check out the track. I didn't actually run yet there, but I plan on coming out for the next IFO in September?.
I need to get a few more things straight first on my car before I take it to the track again, one of them being a tweak for gas milage (running a dual injectors). And since I run on full E-85 (there is a station near Tulsa), as it is now I get about 10mpg even when i'm being nice to it. 1600cc injectors drink no matter how leaned out they are.
I would like to come and check out the "scene" but I hear that everywhere is getting cracked down on pretty bad.

yea i don't even cruise anymore...if anything i go to a parking lot and chill out..there was too many idiots on the road man...the scene got to big filled with a bunch of idiots. especially these turbo diesel idiots...they're the ones who do most of the racing...i mean i understand the whole crack down but theres no sense in running down anymore..it'd be better to just ride your bicycle on the road...but even then if you were challenged by another bicycle i'm pretty sure they'd still pull you over for illegal pedal action

Well last weekend was interesting to say the least. I don't think I've had this much fun in a long time. I got to run a 03 Cobra with full bolt ons (yeah I know, kinda bad picking on the guy), and then i got a run with a fully built single turbo Supra. I'll post up a video later tonight.
Good times, was nice seeing a few old faces out there. Chris, you need to get that white SRT out and about and surprise some folks!
