I have the white single exhaust srt. I ended up with 255hp 322tq but I had shitty 91 gas in it and I think i need to losen up the clamp a little. I have basically said fuck it and will be getting 50trim soon. So Chris you and I need to do some shopping this summer

Damn there is a guy selling a STG2 kit minus the wastegate and TIP for cheap. Should I get that or just get a wideband and mapclamp and get a tune? How much does it cost to convert the ECU to your VIN?

really the best mod would be like a ported compressor housing and a clipped wheel. also bigger throttlebody. also invest in a agp wga. they hold boost alot better than the other aftermarket ones. and kinetic wga's too. really a stage 1 ecu is pretty good. good fuel map and does not not pull as much timing as the stage 2 ecu does. plus gives you a more agressive exhaust tone. but if you plan on tuning your car your self. i would get a wideband and safc II

A wideband and safc with a good tune will get you almost as much if not more power than the stage 2 alone.

If you plan on modding it beyond the stock turbo, stick with the stock PCM.

We can get the ecu flashed in the city at a dealership for 30 bucks no shipping it off and all that. I would suggest stg1 and wideband/safc combo. I made 290 with almost your exact mods same wastegate cat delete not even 3" I do have a stage 1 and mapclamp(safc is better) I have very minimal mods but I was able to tune with the aeroforce scan guage and a wideband which is super helpful. It allows you to clamp your max while watching the timing retard so you get the most timing and cleaner airfuels without knock.

Hekubus I like the way you think dbb50 trim sounds like fun. If you need anyhelp or have any questions dont hesitate to ask. We will have you laying down 400 in no time.

Add a aeroforce scan guage to that and you will turn circles around a stage 2 300+ with good gas is very doable.

yea i wish i would have never sold it either. the 1st of its kind. oh well. right now im trying to figure out why the fuck my car is only making 250hp.. i took off the cold air intake and listen to the turbo. i drove it around and im getting a lok of compressor surge. i can hear it surge so when i stomp on it, i hear the surge the car hesitates then takes off at about 14 psi. and i can feel the car wanting to go and i can feel the torque difference, but i need to see if the compressor surge is really holding me back..

JEFF do you still have the hot pipe? my afro engineered hot pipe might be a bottle neck for the boost getting into the engine. or if anyone has one thats in good shape for that matter

hell if chris is busy or if you need help i have helped put on a few big turbo's together. we could have like a get together and put a 50 trim kit on your car. that sounds like fun to me! im always down for putting mods on a car and working on them.

hey chris you don't know of any shops around here that could maybe wet magnaflux gears or cryo treat gears. i would rather wet magnaflux them. i have 3 oil pumps here im sure if the housings were hot tanked and the gears magnafluxed so they are stronger i could have a stronger oil pump for my car. its just a idea cause i took one apart and looked at the gears and it gave me the idea. if it works ill do all three and sell em to who wants them
