synchro is probably worn. maybe a bad fork/snap ring. It's grinding and popping out of third.

I dont have the tools to remove/reinstall the bearings and gears among other things. It might be better if I replaced the whole thing than try to mess with the input shaft. Unless some local can give me a hand/tools.

i would check to make sure its that cause im having issues with shifting. to as soon as i have time to remove mine ill order parts once i find out what is fucked.

SRT-4 is built in the US with 84% US content.
A New 06-07 Mustang is built in the US with 64% US content and does not legally qualify to use the term "Made in the USA". How's that for an import? Stock turbo/ 3'cai, 3"O2 housing, 3"DP, AGP WGA, mild port head w/3angle valve job w/crane springs retainers,2.0 cams w/fidanza gears, ED hard pipes, hks bov,fullybuilt ported 55mm tb. thats just the begining

I've never tore one apart. does it take special tools?
If ya want andrewsboots , Monday ill check with the same guy that got me my 05 tranny for $700.00 It came out of Minnesota from a salvage yard. They had 4 of them 6 months ago. Now this is for okies only.
(my 03 has a busted diff. i think . its sitting on the floor at work.)
