I am at a crossroads guys. I can't decide on which big wheel S3 to go with. PTPs is $699 w/ ceramic coating and ported compressor 50lb/min., FMs is $599 w/ no porting or ceramic coating and F&Fs is $499 and $280 for manifold porting. The FM and F&F are both 44lb/min. I have had an E1 for almost a year and it has been perfect so I am leaning toward the FM, but the allure of the 50 lb/min wheel is strong. Also the F&F is a great value even with the manifold porting. Damn this is a hard choice, I have never been so ambiguous about a modification.
Is the price the only thing making lean away from the PTP 50lb wheel?
Cuz it's well worth the extra money power wise. Plus PTP has some great customer service. Don't know much about FM. But I have read some bad feedback from customers for F&F.
I've had great experiences with all three companies. F&F seems so backed up that I might not get it back for 8 months. PTP has always been good to me and my E1 from FM has been awesome. I want 400 whp but I want to keep my balance shafts and I don't want to get into custom oil pickups and crank scrapers and all that jazz. I also want to keep my cams stock, basically I want a completely stock engine. The difference between the 44 and the 50lb wheel seems like a lot.

wont the 50lb wheel be kinda laggy???
It is not supposed to be, it is clipped and ported. I don't mind a little lag if it hits hard by 3500 rpm. It will still spool faster than a 50 trim or 3076.
who is 2.4 litrekritter? is that chris?? i just got back from a little navy "camping trip" so im kinda out of the loop

Lagg wont be a problem its faster then a dbb50 trim but you will want to keep an eye on the egt's.(ported mani is a must and I would consider some water meth)
Hey Chris, how's the stang coming. I just got my bottles filled yesterday and need to get in the shop to fix a couple exhaust leaks and install my window switch then I am ready!

I have been running a DevilsOwn kit with a m7 nozzle for over a year. The W/A injection is one of if not the best things I have ever done to my car. 91 octane fuel is not good at 24lbs of boost. With W/A it runs great.
now is this warrantied? and how long did they say it would take them to install it? if it is not warrantied and you have a extra car i did my roommates in 1 day take it off and install a gt3076r on his, but since you have almost virtually the same manifold im sure time would be cut down very fast i would say 8 hrs maybe a little less. and about when would you want to do this. im kinda looking for cash since bills kicked my ass this last two weeks. its up to you man
