So may 9th is coming up pretty fast so i was wondering who all off the forums was going to meet up in the morning at the ankeny walmart. Go eat, cruise around des miones, do whatever, and then go to the track at cedar falls that night. So far the only people for sure that are going are me, bob kid from fort dodge(hopefully he will have his d55 in and tuned by then), nick<--ames kid, and 19psi. I was thinking this doesnt have to be a strictley SRT thing so tell your friends to show up in whatever theve got. And post in here if your going thanks.
I dont plan on starting to wrench until 6ish. Taking the kid to play with butterflies during the day. Anyone welcome just keep the car noise down.

i decided to cancel my order cause i found out what was wrong... i was buying a built block w/ crankscraper 8.8 forged pistons and all the works new crank cam gears cam and everything but i found out when i pulled my plugs for the 5th time that 3 of said plugs had been leaking around the ceramic. i ended up sending the car off to do a compression check to see if my thoughts were correct about the rings and piston tops being blessed with death. and i was happily wrong. it was just my plugs that were junk. i ended up getting new ones and everything is now peachy keen. other than the fact of me still lean as hell. so in the question about how can 14k be dropped in these motors it's easy lol
