Default Des Moines

So found out today I will most likely be moving there in Feb. Not where I want to go but you go where the army sends you. By the number of threads on here does not look like alot going on in the great plains area. Hope you guys just have other forums you post on.

I am fairly well known on the forum mainly for being an asshole but looking forward to meeting new srt owners. See you guys in Feb.

I dunno much about Iowa, but your only a couple of hours from the crew here in KC. We have a very active core of SRT owners and plan activities together.

2009 it looks like we will be doing some HPDE's with some other local clubs at Heartland Park (SCCA Nationals, AutoX Nats ect...) Your more then welcome to join us! That offer goes for any Iowa, Nebraska Owners.

Yeah, Timmy was from Idaho. Shoot, wish you'd gotten PHoenix.

Here is the list of SRT-4 owners in Iowa on these forums:
me
Rocko
Boomboom
19psi
lphooper03
05_eclipseKiller
Eb04

I think that's it. As far as other SRT's out there, I would guess there are 20 or less in the state.

EB04 is from Iowa? The ebo4 thats a chick?

Thats awsome. War stories will be pleased.

Talked to my new boss and recommended living in Ankeny which I think is a little west of Des Moines. I have a wife and 10 year old so schools are important.

You guys get together very often?

Yes I am a gal and Im alot nicer than you all think I am and I live in Altonna which is not far from ankeny which is a really nice place to live and the schools on nice in ankeny. Also theres mopar mcneer hes in newton who has the fastest srt in Iowa and white05acr who lives in Souixcity and a few other srt4s around that you might run into outthere that arent on here. Iowa is not that bad to live pretty quiet around here though.

I live in Ankeny also. I am on the Northeast side of town, just off of HWY 69. There is someone who just moved in north of me with a silver srt4. It will be good to have you in town. I graduated from Ankeny High School and went to Iowa State. Ankeny's schools are really good. I think you will like the area, not a lot of car people around but a fair amount.

i said 20 before, 40 is probably a safer guess for number of srt-4's in iowa.

I think 40 is too much I would say you were right about around 20 srt4s in Iowa and a few csrt4s also.
