Default Cars broke in Kansas, need help...

Well here i am in my home town of Gardner, KS with my srt up on jacks...
I drove from San Diego to Kansas to race at my home town track of HPT this thursday during there test and tune, then i plan to run this saturday with my brother in-law who is an avid racer. A couple days before i left San Diego i noticed i might have an exhaust leak by my manifold... i got in to town yesterday and tore the car down, found the leak at the o2 housing to manifold gasket, well its an Maxxfab 3in o2 housing so a stock gasket wont work, i checked all the parts stores and no dice on a replacement (go figure right?) Well my question is there any local performance shops that have high temp 3in flange gaskets?

Yo, whats up! I am in Gardner, Kansas too!

You don't need a flange gasket. All you need is the Copper RTV Spray A Gasket. Put a nice thin layer on there and connect it to the manifold. Check out the Maxxfab site or the vendor thread if you don't believe me...

Yes. I actually had a cool local performance shop install my entire exhaust for me for a great price. I brought the copper spray a gasket with me. Permatex offers it, they actually have it at Autozone in town if you are still out here.

PM the Maxxfab guys. I remember them telling me they originally used a paper copper gasket on their silver SRT-4 that was featured in sport compact mag I believe, and they kept having problems with it eatin' it up. So they used the copper spray a gasket and it holds up fine.

I have had miy 3'' 02 housing on for almost a year now. And it seems fine. I don;t know how you can tell if its leaking or not.

Name is Stephen.
