Minot is 4 hours, Fargo looks like 7 hours. Both doable, But Fargo would definately require an overnight stay.

This has been our first week with snow in G.F. and its already below zero. This sucks and further proves that global warming is a bunch of rubbish, and Alan Gore = Ass Hat.

Regina to Fargo is 520 miles, Regina to Minot is 250 miles. Minot is a fair bit closer. That was a full 1/4 mile in Minot right?

Also negative on knowing those two people from Regina....But they are from Regina so I'm sure they are awesome.

Car starter= negative. I wanna be there when it starts.
Block heater = negative. But you can by the pt cruiser one, put it in the middle(i think) plug and do it yourself. The part number is available if you search this forum. Or you could go with some other block heater that is available. magnetic to the oil pan or some go in the radiator hoses.

You need a friend with a heated garage.

I installed the pt block heater in my srt this week. I did it when I put my new turbo-back exhaust on. With the downpipe off, the turbo discharge pipe taken off, and the power steering cooler unbolted and hanging down, it wasn't too difficult to get at the frost plug.

However, DO NOT push the frost plug all the way into the block. Unfortunately, I did that, and it took 4+ hours to finally mangle it enough to get it out.

I have yet to try the block heater on a real cold start, but in our heated shop I plugged it in for ~10 min and according to my scangauge it raised the coolant temp about 15 degrees in that time. So I figure it's working.

How Shitty that weather just beyond the border? We were at -22C or -3F today. It isn't that bad, but last week was all around 32F which was awfully nice.
