Here are the official Rules and Classes. We are trying to have a class here for basically everyone. Its "Heads up racing" for everyone with a low entry, fair payout and hopefully a FUN atmosphere!
There are 7 index classes similar to "Pinks all out" format and 3 other heads up classes. The index classes allow a fair shot at winning for everyone. I know the 3 regular heads up classes will take quite a while to build but at least we want to make a start with it.
SATURDAY NIGHT STREET CAR SHOOTOUT
“RUN WATCHA BRUNG AND HOPE YOU BRUNG ENOUGH”
Racing Starts at 6:00 PM
Rules:
All vehicles must be street orientated. This means all Lights, turn signals, License plates, etc. Only allowable non-street modification is slicks allowed. All vehicles must use some form of muffler or muffling device. All must meet IHRA Tech Inspection; Have current Registration, Insurance, and driver’s license.
Eliminations are run HEADS UP for all classes on a “pro tree”. There is a .5 breakout rule for all classes.
Classes:
Seven index classes: Starting at 7. to 7.49, 7.5 to 7.99...., up to 10.0 split every .50.
Cars running under class index by less than .10 can run in either class but .5 breakout rules still applies.
Ex. A car running 8.92 seconds can choose to run the 9.00 class or the 8.50 class. But the breakout would apply if they choose the 9.00 class he cannot go quicker than 8.95 in eliminations. If they enter the 8.50 class they can run as fast as 8.45 with out breaking out.
Procedure:
Driver makes two time trial runs to decide on which class to enter. Puts the class desired on the windows and comes to the lanes when called. Racing heads up with everyone in their class.
Entry fees: $20.00. Payouts yet to be determined.
Heads up Non-index races. 3 classes.
Entry $25. Payouts yet to be determined.

on stock tires what was your traction like on the track? how did it compare to the street? reason I ask is because Saben's track for the tintmasters day isnt prepped and on stock tires I got worse traction than on the street. If they prep I'll hit it up this weekend on my stockers
