Ted Kennedy died tonight from brain cancer. Since this is a sensitive time for people and I am a sensitive guy. I wont say what I thought about him. I also wont talk about Mary Jo Kopechne, who was left to die in the Chappaquiddick river.

I not exactly happy a man has died, but I tell you, as a resident of Massachusetts, the guy was the largest form of Scum in the Senate. Let's look to the local politic scene shall we? In 2004, he rallied the Massachusetts political scene with a referendum change to how a vacant U.S. Senate seats get refilled. At the time, the seat would have gotten picked as a replacement by the governor.... Mitt Romney. Of course, this is all based on anticipation that John Kerry was going to win the Presidency. So, good ol' Teddy rounded up the troops and amended it to a special vote by the people of Massachusetts. Guess who sent a letter to Flee 'em all Devuall Patrick last week? That's right! You guessed it! Someone representing Ted Kennedy as I'm pretty sure TK's brain has probably been mush for a few weeks now. In his letter, TK stated it was time to return the point of authority from the people of Massachusetts and return it to the Governor so that he may choose whom to replace Mr. Kennedy if the time ever came.

And you know what? It never came to pass. So hopefully, hopefully, 6 months from now there will be a new Senator who isn't as liberal (I'll settle for someone who hasn't killed anyone for starters) as good ol' Teddy. Hell! Maybe the residents of Massachusetts will vote in a Conservative!

Now is a great time to possibly get someone more conservative in there since everyone is still pissed about what the dems are doing now.

Im not for sure but does this mean they dont have a phillibuster proof senate any longer. I never checked into that yet.

I've been very busy this week and haven't had the time to post in here, but since you guys just REALLY pissed me off about your extremely insensitive comments regarding the loss of Senator Ted Kennedy, I'm waiting no longer.

Do you understand that you had the right to vote at 18 because of Ted Kennedy?

Do you know of the amazing amounts of legislation he has passed that has helped blacks, the poor, the old, the young, the disabled, homosexuals. What the FUCK has any of your idiotic, racist, discriminatory right-wing extremist senators done for this country? Nothing. Just helped out big corporations, killed the environment, hurt the poor, took away our 4th amendment rights, took a shit on the constitution, and killed millions of innocent people.

Do you have any idea how JFK would say one thing to get the black vote and then not back it up Fuck Nixon had a better civil rights record than JFK. The right to vote at 18 give me a fucking break. Fuck ted and fuck you idiotic douche! Oh yeah some right wing senators actually served our country and made it on their own rather than living off the corpses of their dead brothers.

I dont think Ted was as bad or as good for that matter as some make him out to be, but whatever...RIP Ted Kennedy.

Don't feel bad for Mass. they vote those guys in over and over again, its their own fault.
