I got into a little heated debate with a couple I know locally. They seem to be about as far left as they come. After I stated that both a) it's terrible they are using his death as a tool to push health reform and b) after what he did to Mary Jo, I personally believe the ass deserved no longer to live.
Ted Kennedy was interested in health care, but unfortunately, drinking was what he cared most about. He drank for 44 years instead of working on health care, or pretty much any other issue, instead leaving his staffers to do the dirty work. So, fortunately for Americans, this bill will never pass.
