I wouldn't be surprised if it happened. And if it did, Israel would slaughter Iran easily. But most people would expect that.

I hate to say it, but it needs to happen. Israel used to be able to depend on the United states to keep a little heat off them but now our government has turned into a bunch of hippy pussys that wont even protect us, much less them.

Israel can attack from the air but will never be able to put boots on the ground. In the end all they'll end up doing is knocking out their nuke facilities and destablize Iran.

Israel would not need our help against Iran, but since every muslim nation hates Israel, they need us around just to tell the other guys to stay out of the fight.

Kind of like if you had a friend get in a fight with a guy, but the other guys friend started kicking your friend while he was on the ground fighting. Wouldnt you jump in to keep the second guy out? Or would you just stay out of it and let you friend get killed by two guys?

If you pick the second choice, I would hate to be your friend.

Israel is not as bad ass as she used to be and the muslims are much wealthier and have access to better weapons now. There is no way in hell israel could wage an invasive war on iran without our help. The only saving grace is that Iranians are not Arabs and also not sunni so the arabs may stay out of it. Personally I hope that they don't attack Iran.

You are guys are missing one point. Iran is mostly Persian. Middle Easterners don't care much for them. In fact I'm willing to bet that secretly most of the countries like Saudi Arabia etc...would be glad that Israel bombed them.

Well they were very stable prior to WW2 after they pretty much sided with the germans we and israel have been pretty much keeping them unstable. Iran like it or not has the potential to become a major player in the middle east. If they had a more moderate/pro west leadership they even could be a huge ally. They are not arabs nor are they sunni. The peoiple who attacked us on 9/11 were both those two things and they traditionally do not get along with the persians. The people of iran do not hate us the same way the arabs do although both hate our blind loyalty to israel.

Our terrorist branch of the government, the CIA, overthrew their leader Mossadeq in 53 via coup de'tat because Iran refused to sell their oil to British Petrolium for pennies on the dollar. Then we forced the shah into power, who of course sold away the Iranian's oil for their own profit, and were tyrannical against their own people. Then the people revolted and overthrew the shah after 20+ years of tyranny, so we supplied Saddam Hussein with chemical and biological weapons to fight the Iranians in the Iran/Iraq war. AND in 2008 Bush authorized the CIA to cause mayhem in Iran to destabilize their government and start an uprisal.

They actually remember their history of the United States better than you guys do. You fools do nothing but assume we are always in the right, and are always the 'good guys'. The Iranians would probably rather fight to the death like true patriots than be subserviant to this government. Good for them. I don't blame them one bit.

ummm I plan on fight to the death for my country, and our way of life. I just happen to think this will be with in the next few years too. It's coming.

As for Isreal attacking Iran, they will win the air war....ground war I am not so sure of at this point. Reason being, is that in their last fight where they were attacked they had issues with fratricide. Commo wasn't good between units. If they fixed this issue, Iran could be easily taken by them.

We'll not stay out of this fight either. I would hope the idiot in office, would support Israel and not allow them to be ganged up upon. However I have little faith in the "annointed one."

^^ Agreed. I dont think they would even attempt boots on the ground. They dont want to take over Iran, just get rid of the nuclear sites that Iran says they will wipe Israel off the map with. I think it would be almost 100% an air attack.
