holy shit if i hear, "well in france and sweden they do it this way and it works great!" again from the professor i might go insane! shut the fuck up about france, no one gives a shit. they are a bunch of pussies who have been gettiing their asses kicked in every confrontation they have been in since napoleon left. they are fuckn weak, if u think its so great move there!!!!!!!
Not to mention that france has let immigration go out of control and they are now losing their own customs to islamic customs. Fucking pussies..
That is the most ridiculous argument I have ever heard.
I'm saying we should try to emulate France and Sweden because their programs WORK.
They pay less for higher quality care.
How the hell does Iran and Saudi Arabia's criminal justice system "work?" What benefit are you trying to find?
I'm not saying emulate another country for no apparent reason
umm...actually it does work in the middle east. You RARELY hear of the problems like we have here. Overall they have less criminal activity. Works for me! Don't get me wrong, I am all FOR capital punishment and it should be used more often and for less then murder. (rape, repeat offenders IE drug users, felonys)
What I am saying is this....the arguement "they do it, why can't we" is childish. I know a guy that shits in his shoe...I expect you to start doing that now too.

It's not childish at all if the argument is appropriate.
There is no benefit to me shitting in my shoe lol.
Regarding Saudi Arabia and Iran; their methods of punishment violate our constitution via cruel and unusual punishment. Plus there are several countries that don't have the death penalty at all that still have lower homicide rates such as Norway, Austria, Ireland, Greece, etc. so you can't necessarily say that their method of capital punishment is the reason for crime deterrence.
France, on the other hand, has the best health care in the world according to the WHO, so why not try to emulate them on some level?
You guys are retarded.
I think this is a good idea for parents who are struggling and need some help with their parenting. It's for the benefit of the children to ask for help if you feel that you need it.
And what does said parent do when the child says "Shut the F up and get out of my face mom, you can't tell me what to do, you didn't even raise me!"
How is the parent not raising the kid just because they are asking for help?
well-trained and competent staff," would "provide parents with knowledge of age-appropriate child development in cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor domains ... modeling, consulting, and coaching on parenting practices," and "skills to interact with their child to enhance age-appropriate development."
that sounds like the government instilling values that children usually gain from a parent!
