Wink Results from CHICAGO Dyno Day!

I have to say guys it was nice meeting all of you and I think the turnout was pretty good. We had 5 guys dyno including myself and a few others that joined us to watch. 3 were stock. Mine and generallee's were slightly modded. The weather here was in the mid 40's so its pretty chilly. The runs went smoothly and I think all of us were satisfied with our numbers. I know I am.

1st run = 254.4 hp/284.6 tq<------best run for me
2nd run = 241.7 hp/269.3 tq<------engine was warm
3rd run = 248.0 hp/269.7 tq <------10 min. cool down w/fan

I dynoed last out of the group. We all decided to see what the stock srt's would do first and then see generallee's and mine last because we were modded. So my car was pretty much cold on the first run. I'm boosting 19-20 psi. We got footage of it.

I'll post my graph as soon as I get a new one emailed to me from Garage Kwai. They gave us all floppy discs but on mine the air/fuel ratio graph was cut off at the bottom. I ran hella rich up to about 2500 I think and then dipped in the mid 13 range all the way to redline. I'm not sure if that's ok or on the high side.

Thanks to milli13, generallee, chris, dan, jason (sorry forgot your screen names), black irish for showing up. I'll let them post their results here.

Hey Dan and Jason, where did you guys go? Phil, Brad and I headed to Dennys for some grub, thought you guys would have like to come along. You too Black Irish.

mike coleman...what happend man?:p

mid 13's a bit high, i think 12.5 is better to look for, plus im not sure, but ive heard 18 psi is optimal for the stock turbo, because its most efficient there, and the pcm pulls enough timing to make any more than 18psi useless. good run though.

The pcm only pulls timing when it detects knock. I don't have that problem.

Thanks Steve! Yeah we definitely will have another dyno day. We'll call it Chicago Dyno Day II. The II stands for Stage 2.

Yeah, I'm stock except for the Mopar bov. Some of the other stock srt's were putting out a little more power. Some thought I might have a leak somewhere???

Default Dyno Chart

I was pretty happy with my runs too. They told us to list our mods, so they could put them on the dyno sheets, but didnt? Look in my sig for mods, plus the welfare exhaust

Run 1 : Car was cold
236.3 HP ------- 267.0 TQ

Run 2 : Back to back with Run 1
227.3 HP ------- 260.6 TQ

Run 3 : Cool down first
237.8 HP ------- 271.9 TQ

That BOV sounds awesome Chris. I'm not sure if its causing you any boost leak but now that I see your numbers I think your power is on par of what it should be.

Sorry I didnt go eat with you guys, the wife dragged me to the mall for a few hours.

My runs were as follows
219.4 hp/250.2tq
220.9hp/246.8tq
223.5hp/254tq

My car is bone stock so I was pretty pleased with the results.
Cant wait to get stage 2
I think the guys at the shop were pretty impressed with the numbers we were putting down.

I got videos of all the guys cars on the dyno. I started running out of memory so I only got 1 or 2 of some of the runs.
