OH: Any good places to buy fireworks? - SRT Forums

Any of you guys know anygood places to buy fireworks in the Toledo area (Michigan/Ohio border)? The closest, most convienient store I could find was Phantom fireworks off of Comerce RD.

Watch out, if you have a fireworks display too close to Detroit, you and your friends might get shot!

A secretary in my office got trampled at the fireworks. She was unconcious for 9 hours. Whoever did the shooting should get a roman candle stuck in his ass and lit.

Hell, Xither, TN is a heck of a lot closer

Had to laugh though, first thing in the dorr is a display with three mortar looking tubes attached together, with a big sign saying "Soon to be illegal!!!!" Shoulda seen the crowd

Then the 17 yo kid, who had noticed my Md plates, mentioned that since I was from a non-fireworks state, I should be VERY careful using fireworks

He was very puzzled when my wife and both my kids just cracked up

Poor kid couln't know what I do for work, not his fault

No shit. That's all we need is another asshole to make the city look bad. It's a damn shame that something like that went down.

Anyhoo,
I got the fireworks from Phantom in toledo. Nice place, nice selection. I even seen a yellow SRT-4 with a big black stripe down the center with some old guy driving it. I gave him the thumbs up, but he didn't even give me the time of day. I also had a car full of chicks shout at me "nice car." That made me smile.

Can't wait to light these fuckers off.

Probably doesnt help much, but theres a couple of places down here near Columbus. 1 near Lancaster, and 1 about 40 miles south on I-71

American Fireworks in Hudson, Ohio (just south of Cleveland / north of Akron). americanfireworks.com
They have just about everything! A couple years ago we went there on July 5th and they were basically giving us all this stuff for free. Its been a while since I've driven up to Michigan, but I believe there's a place near Toledo on the Ohio Turnpike near I-75. That should be a lot closer for you.
