Default Need some help with a Map Clamp in IL

Hey guys

I'm located in Gurnee, IL and I'm pretty new to my srt

Im about to throw on a few bolt ons including a down pipe, o2 housing, wot box, and whatever else I get my hands on by the end of the month. Probably a new front mount

Anyways, I really need help installing the map clamp. I don't have a wide band, or safc or anything, and Im pretty confused on how to go about clamping even after reading a ton of posts.

So if anyone can meet up and help me out, that would be awesome.

I have the stage 2 pcm and stage 2 wga in case you wanted to know

Best advice I can give you is to read up on all the posts that you can concerning what you want to do. This forum is about as informative as you can get. Another piece of advice is to sign up for the local scene (Chicagoland SRT Club) as there is a crap ton of knowledge between the people there as well.

While you've probably got a decent amount of room for error running the Stage2, I'd recommend leaving the MAP clamp OFF THE CAR until you've got SOMETHING to monitor your engine with (wideband, UGEO, etc..).

By allowing yourself to fool the MAP sensor, you're causing the PCM to pull fuel from (lean out) the air-fuel mixture in the cylinder. Too lean, and POP! no more motor. Without a device to monitor this situation, you're asking for a whole heap of trouble (and a VERY messy rebuild).
