Wiggy. I don't think the FIC uses the Truboost controller, I think its all internal and just part of the tune like the EMS. It does use the same boost solenoid though.
Ooh, OK. So then, can you adjust it on the fly? I thought you still had to get the actual gauge to be able to use the BC function.

You'd have to get that and a boost controller. I know the S-AFC is the way to go for us DSMers, but it seems to be the bottom of the barrel in SRT world.
yup i have the turboXS dual stage boost controller...for holding more consistent boost though i recommend the TurboXs HPBC which has a ball bearing and spring to help bleed boost better, which actually help you hold more boost over a standard manual boost controller
He meant just a ball and spring, no bearing. Ya, get a dual stage, adjust both stages, then just switch it back n forth in your cabin, simple as that. You can always go with the quad stage controller they have for about 150 more lol

the only problem with the Dtec is that TurboXS had so many problem with it they are stopping production and are no longer making parts from what aaron has told me

Not all of them are. Some are just FC's.
Im not exactly sure how you adjust boost on the FIC. If its like the EMS, then no you can't do it on the fly. For the EMS, you have to load the tune with the boost level you want, or change it with a laptop.
Ray, can I come get that strut tomorrow? Or, if you're coming to my party Friday would you mind bringing it along? I want to get my car winterized this weekend.
Alrite, it's not supposed to rain or snow so I should be able to stop up that day. I'll let you know.
BTW: Saw snow this morning
Sound good.

Its at my apartment. I really don't wanna bring it back to work.
It works good for me. I was watching the scan gauge, timing was 36.5 deg and the knock retard never read anything even at 29psi boost. Just stayed at 0.0
sweet jeebus, what is your setup?
