I'm sure there are shops closer, but unless you know their reputation and work ethics, you may be better off going on a blind date with someone you've never seen or meet. Take it to Realtune and whatever you need done will be done the right way the first time no BS :
I was about to do the same before I bought an upgraded turbo, the distance made it easier to buy the turbo, but for the tune, I might make the 6 hour drive each way........the tune can make a huge difference in power and the drive is probably worth a few hundred in gas
there is a guy in cameron missouri that owns redline imports....had a heavily modified evo that he eventually traded in...i work at the dealership he traded it in at and there wasnt one thing that was half assed on it....if he pays as much attention to you and your tuning as he did that evo you shouldnt have a problem with him here is his myspace link www.myspace.com/redlineimportskc
check him out and see what hes got
the bad ass evo is for sale at cecil myers mitsubishi iin st joe missouri
you could also go to AMS in arlington heights IL, www.amsperformance.com, i mean, they only build the most badass evos around and built and tuned the highest hp srt....just a though, if not ams , then i say realtune FTW, only reason i mentioned ams first is because you're in kansas and illinois is much closer
