With the date approaching fast and less than 50 cars signed up, we have made the decision to open the track to local cars.
We have the track for 8 hours. I want 4 hours just for the SRT community and eliminations. Our question is, what 4 hour slot should the event be? Do you guys want the first 4 hours for the class racing and the final 4 hours to be open time trials? Or would you like it to be open racing for the first 4 hours to get more time to iron our your setups?
Either slot we choose, the first hour will be for time trials to figure out the bracket for the heads up elimination....so keep that in mind as well.
Example 1:
9am -10am Time trials
10am-1pm Eliminations
1pm-5pm Open racing [with locals]
Example 2:
9am-1pm Open racing [with locals]
1pm-2pm Time trials
2pm-5pm Eliminations

voted for example 2, like you said i would rather see everyone get some more runs in to perfect their cars before eliminations to make it more interesting.

I like that idea as well. However, keep in mind that also increases the risk of breaking and not running in the event at all
