Quick question...

why are you holding this event on a Friday?

We had 4 cars from CSC head out there, and they come back with nothing but GREAT things to say about the people and the event... i would of joined them, but 10 CSC cars decided to head out to South Carolina for the Mopar Super Center Car show... and we had 20+ cars at a local car show...

With so many events already taking up weekend and "work" days... If this event was held on a weekend, it would make it 100x easier to attend. As of right now, i am "hoping" that i can make it.. and will know better as it gets closer to the time of the event.

Just wondering

Pretty much the only days available to rent the track are Thursday, Fridays, and Mondays. Norwalk has some pretty big events almost every weekend, I think someone said to have a track rental on a weekend it would be something in the 8-10 thousand dollar range. And of course Fridays are the next best thing.

I hear u on that... here we have a few tracks (4 Track) within a few hours of eachother... RT.66 is approx $15,000 to rent out... however, we usually head out to Byron Drag way near Rockford. We ask them for lanes and they provide us with our own lanes, we usually run more frequently then other lanes, and they empty our entire lanes each time we run. The best thing is that its not at any extra cost, and usually on Saturdays.

I guess it is what it is for this event... I think that the 4 of our cars that went last time are returning again for the reschedule... and i am going to try to make it along with a few more CSC'ers.... Hopefully!

I think that if we could make a good showing year after year, Norwalk may wind up being interested in making it a weekend event. I'm not certain how the DSM shootout started but I'm pretty sure it wasn't as big as it is now when they started it.
