That sounds like BS to me...
Not sure about the rods though.

You said Dodge 2.4, not Chevy 383 stroker, right? ROFL

I am not sure what he is referencing but I used those same rods without issue. Just make sure your crank journals are in spec (diameter and eccentricity) and use plastigauge to verify

ry.david what cams are you running and do you have the head ported? Nigel suggested crane 16 and bob suggested bc stage 3 not sure which I will use yet. I'm gonna do MAP stage 3 head with +1 +2 valves any suggestions

/\/\ Another good data point, Wu is obviously making them work great

I am running BC S2 cams with DCR Pro head... I wanted to stay pretty mild with the cams so my powerband didn't shift too far to the right. As it sits, my torque starts falling off around 7100 RPM

I think crower 3s might be a little too big for what I'm doing but thanks for the suggestion. Like you ry I want to keep my power band from moving up too high in the rpm range. I will probably just go with Nigel's suggestion since he will be the one tuning the car. Thanks for the input though guys.

How do you guys think this battery would perform for spring/summer/fall weekend driving? I'd have a trickle charger on it over the winter. Should be able to save quite a bit of weight.

I didn't know that my friend just told me about this sunoco E85R and i was searching about it. It is really expensive but would be more consistent on a race level.

I am thinking it will be fine. Careful though, PCA != CCA... different test parameters.

Bring the battery in the house for the winter. Trickle will burn up if you just place it attached to the car in the garage. I put mine in the basement on a charger.

I have a Braille. Lost one over the winter before...
My routine now: Charge it once every 2 weeks or so.

which one do you have? you have it in 4DRGOAT? did you let it sit all winter and not charge it? I'm hoping to buyy the smallest one. it's only 6.9lbs. I'm going to call the company today and get their input

Default Rust question

Michigonians - with your enourmous supply of water around, do you get rust problems? Or is it salt air more the culprit?
