So I have this cool SRT-4 now and I'm thinking it might be fun to do some drives or get-togethers with fellow SRT-4 drivers in and around the metro Detroit area. Is there anyone out there interested in meeting for "ginger-ales" and hooliganism in-and-around Detroit maybe once a month or once a quarter? (That's every 3 months for all you keeping score at home...) We could also possibly get some space during the Dream Cruise for all the SRTs if everything works and everyone's cool.
Who knows...
Also if you know of anything that is going on around here already, let me know! I'm probably not the first...

did you drive your red ACR in the cruise this past year? I saw 1 driving around on Woodward. when the weather breaks & spring arrives , I see some SRTs hanging on Woodward on Friday nights. You may want to check this site - www.michsrts.com

When the nicer weather is here I'm out on Woodward all the time. Usually on Friday and Saturday nights I end up stopping somewhere and car watching. Usually at Auto Europe (even though its the LS1 hangout...which I don't care about either way), but its either there or at Pot Bellys between 13 and 14 mile on the West side.
I did drive my car TO the Woodward Dream Cruise, but I parked it outside the Eaton tent on 12 mile. I had tickets for food and refreshments there and didn't realize there was a spot open next to my uncle's Chevelle a little bit down the road. Next year though I think I'll park on the street.
The wintertime is VERY boring in this area. Not much to do. So I figured some SRT guys could do some winter activities and if all goes well, we could show up at some of these other hangouts during the summer. Strength in numbers.
I tried the MichSRT site, but it looks pretty much dead... Last post I think was sometime at the end of December... Unless I'm looking in the wrong place...

you could always drive to toledo every other sat. and go bowling with the G/C SRT'S. Be sure to check out the link in my sig. for the midwest srt nationals, were looking to have quite the turnout
Bowling is next weekend if your interested, and every other sat. after that, usually followed by a semi-drunken race to the waffle house. also if u havent yet check out my signature link. always a good time

usually hang out by auto zone (the car model shop, not the parts store). last time there the owner came out & freaked on us all to leave.. cops came , so we'd move around. the times I have gone , I have the only white ACR srt I've seen in the area.
You guys should know that a couple of guys from the SS site, or sister site. Was going to set up something in the spring. I'm from downriver, and you can catch me on the weekends having fun somewhere. I will met up with any of you guys, just let me know when and where!!!! I've got the camera, you feel me!!!!!
